One desktop app for getting media and messages out of your Telegram and onto your own disk.
The chat view shows every message oldest to newest — text and files together, with day separators and thumbnails. Scroll up and older messages load. Click to select, shift-click for a range, or take all files, all text, or everything loaded in one go.
Pick a chat and download every photo, video, document, music file or voice message in it. Select many chats at once and queue them all. The app scans the entire history, not just what is on screen.
Large files keep their partial data and continue from where they stopped — after a pause, a dropped connection, or closing the app entirely. Finished files are skipped on the next run, so re-running a channel only fetches what is new.
Paste a t.me invite link, a private t.me/c/ message link, an @username or a numeric id to open a chat that is not in your list yet. Works with private groups and channels you are a member of.
Files keep the name Telegram gave them. Each chat gets its own folder, optionally split into Photos, Videos, Files, Music and Voice. File dates are set to the date of the post, so sorting by date matches the chat.
Select messages and save their text to a file in chat order. Or export a whole chat to a readable HTML page or JSON, with its media linked inline.
Downloads run in parallel with a limit you set. When Telegram asks the app to slow down, it waits and carries on by itself instead of failing.
There is no TelegramBuddy server and no account. The app talks to Telegram directly, and your files are written straight to your disk. The window is a local app, not a web page.
